LSU’s stay at the Southeastern Conference tournament was as short as possible.

The Tigers played their one game and dropped a tight decision to Florida 76-73 when freshman point guard Andrew Nembhard made a 3-point basket with one second remaining.

So, it will be no double championship for LSU.

The Tigers will have to settle for the SEC regular-season championship, while either Auburn or Tennessee will claim the SEC tournament title.
