BATON ROUGE — LSU freshman running back Harlem Berry delivered the first 100-yard rushing performance of his college career Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

Berry led the Tigers with 125 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in LSU’s 63-14 victory over McNeese. He averaged 8.3 yards per carry, broke a 46-yard run and scored on an 11-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

The performance was another step forward for one of LSU’s most talented young offensive players as the Tigers now turn their attention back to SEC play.
