LSU season preview: Georgia

Georgia finds itself in a new position in the Southeastern Conference.

For the first time in 12 years, the Bulldogs are the defending SEC champions. Coach Kirby Smart got Georgia to the top of the conference in just his second season.

However, the 2017 campaign did not end well for the Bulldogs, who dropped an overtime thriller to Alabama in the national championship game. So, Georgia was beaten for the national title by a team which didn’t participate in the SEC title game.
