BATON ROUGE – LSU head coach Lane Kiffin meets with reporters Monday afternoon as the 15th-ranked Tigers begin Alabama week following their open date.
LSU (6-2, 3-2 SEC) enters Saturday's showdown riding a two-game winning streak, including a convincing 38-17 victory at Auburn on October 24. The Tigers have found their offensive rhythm in recent weeks behind quarterback Sam Leavitt, who has thrown seven touchdown passes over his last two games.

Alabama (6-2, 4-2 SEC), ranked No. 9 in the latest AP poll, also comes off an open date. Both teams enter the rivalry matchup looking to strengthen their postseason positioning with four regular-season games remaining.
Saturday's meeting carries additional significance as the SEC's new scheduling rotation will interrupt the annual LSU-Alabama series beginning in 2027.
LSU and Alabama kick off Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT in Tiger Stadium. ABC will televise the contest.
