Despite outgaining the Crimson Tide 457-285 and collecting 27 first downs, LSU suffered a frustrating 31-13 defeat Saturday afternoon in Tiger Stadium, dropping the Tigers to 6-3 on the season.
Red-zone failures, questionable offensive decisions, defensive breakdowns and special teams mistakes turned a winnable game into an 18-point loss. LSU also failed on all four fourth-down attempts.
