Well, that's what the pollsters want you to believe. As if taxing our way to prosperity has ever worked. Don't we have enough fiscal problems as it is without these clowns wanting more money to spend on unsustainable programs?
When will the people of this country say enough? I say, never. Why? Because of the empty promise of "free stuff". People like free stuff, and they will vote for those who promise it. Unfortunately, the country's trending liberal/socialist/progressive. Far too many of our young people embrace this agenda because they've been taught it for years. It's what they know and and are comfortable with it. Only when they run out of other people's money will they see that socialism doesn't work. By then, it will probably be too late. If it's possible for this trend to be reversed, now's the time.
