After reading this article, I had to comment and post. I didn't know the US farmed out the building of the F-35. To have a country like Turkey furnishing needed parts for this advanced aircraft is ludicrous. If an understanding can't be reached between us and the Turks over the procurement of the Russian S-400 AA system, the US will have to secure other suppliers for the parts Turkey now builds for the F-35.
Does anyone else have a problem with this? Turkey, while a member of NATO, is not exactly friendly. They, Russia, and Iran are becoming very chummy. I think it's a horrible idea to have such a country build parts for a craft like the F-35.
Come on, America. Wise up!!!
