Seven possible impact LSU freshmen

LSU’s season-opener against Miami is just ten days away.

The Tigers depth chart may not be finalized, but it is certainly taking shape. Seven true freshmen have displayed enough to possibly be in the rotation at their position.

Two first-year players are currently working with the No. 1 unit – wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and cornerback Kelvin Joseph. A third true freshman – walk-on Avery Atkins – is the top candidate to handle kickoffs.
