There was one telling score in the Southeastern Conference on Saturday.
Mississippi State, which scored 40-plus points in upsetting LSU seven days earlier, scored just two touchdowns against an Arkansas team, which had not won a league game in three years. The Bulldogs were upset by the visiting Razorbacks.
So, the Tigers did not get beat by a possible SEC title contender in their season-opener. LSU’s ten-point loss at home to Mississippi State now looks a lot worse.
