LSU passing game starts with protection

Two games into the 2018 season, LSU’s passing numbers are below average.

New quarterback Joe Burrow has completed just 48 percent of his pass attempts (21-of-44) for 291 yards. Burrow is averaging less than seven yards per pass attempt. He has been sacked four times and has been hurried six times. Burrow has been forced to scramble another six times.

At least, Burrow has not thrown an interception.
