FROM THE LOCKER ROOM

Coach Ed Orgeron’s comments: “This was a total team effort. I was excited about the play of Joe Burrow and I was excited about some of our offensive linemen like Donavaughn Campbell and Adrian Magee. The defense struggled a bit, but we held Ole Miss to 16 points which was good. We were minus-one in turnovers and we have to get that fixed. We had two turnovers in the red zone and you can’t have that. We have to stay hungry. We haven’t played a complete game yet.”

UP NEXT

LSU will play Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. Central. The game will be available on CBS. The Gators (4-1, 2-1) defeated Mississippi State 13-6 in Starkville on Saturday night.
