Not the ending expected for 2019 LSU signing class

On paper, former LSU coach Ed Orgeron’s second full recruiting class seemed to be one of the best in the country.

The Tigers’ 2019 signing class consisted of 24 high school players and one junior college player. That group, led by cornerback Derek Stingley, was ranked No. 5 in the country.

Those players would be completing their fourth seasons in a LSU uniform in next week’s Citrus Bowl against Purdue in Orlando.
