LSU QB commit Colin Hurley deadlifts and squats more than 500 pounds
LSU’s 2024 quarterback commit Colin Hurley may only be 15 years old, but that doesn’t stop him in the weight room. Take a look at his impressive weight room perfromance.
In the video Hurley deadlifts 500 pounds. He says he actually has deadlifted up t0 550 pounds.
On squat, he has 405 pounds loaded on the bar, and the chains add another 120 pounds for total of 525 pounds.
As part if his weight training program, they monitor bench press carefully he says. Hurley says they rarely do max lifts for bench press, but he can do at least 12 reps of 225 pounds.
“LSU is not getting an itty bitty QB,” Hurley joked. “I just love the gym. It’s a big part of what I do on the field.
