LSU OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME

Jefferson set a career-high with 117 receiving yards. He got the Tigers off to a quick start by hauling in a 40-yard pass from Burrow for a touchdown. FROM THE LOCKER ROOM

Coach Ed Orgeron’s comments: “This was a good team win. We won it at the end of the game. We focused on just getting the win at the end. We played good defense and our offensive line blocked good. We held the ball in the fourth quarter when we needed. Sliding at the end (by Brossette) was a down, down situation. We can run the clock and win the game. Get down and win the game.”
