Key series for LSU at South Carolina

LSU opened the second half of its regular-season schedule Tuesday night with yet another ten-run rule victory – this time against Nicholls State.

The Tigers, who have lost just four times in 29 games, have maintained their No. 1 national ranking in every baseball poll since the start of the season back in February.

In an unusual twist, LSU is not in first place in the overall Southeastern Conference standings even though it is ranked first in the country.
