LSU has landed a commitment from defensive lineman Jaylen Brown out of South Carolina.
In high school, he was a four-star recruit out of Madison, Alabama.
He initially signed with Missouri in 2024, where he recorded two tackles as a true freshman.
However, in 2025, he did not see the field for South Carolina after suffering a knee injury.
Notably, LSU hired his position coach, Sterling Lucas, out of South Carolina, and now Brown will follow him to LSU.
The 6’5, 270-pound edge will have three years of eligibility.
He is the 14th portal commitment and third defensive lineman for LSU in the 2026 cycle.
