LSU and Alabama are preparing for another SEC showdown, but this year's matchup comes with an unusual twist: The Tigers enter Saturday's game as substantial favorites over the Crimson Tide.
With Lane Kiffin in his first season at LSU, the Tigers have an opportunity to make a statement against one of college football's traditional powers.
On this week's edition of LSU Football Fix, Preston Guy and Grant Chachere break down the matchup, examine the keys to an LSU victory and discuss whether the Tigers can live up to expectations.
The two also look at the challenges Alabama presents, the impact of playing in Tiger Stadium and what Saturday's outcome could mean for LSU moving forward.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday on ABC.
