LSU hits a home run with Scott Woodward

Anyone who believed the reinstatement of Will Wade as LSU’s basketball coach was going to be the biggest news of the week in the athletics department was sadly mistaken.

On Wednesday afternoon, LSU announced that Director of Athletics Joe Alleva was being reassigned to a position in the school president’s office. Shortly thereafter, it became apparent that Texas A&M Athletic Director Scott Woodward would be Alleva’s replacement.
