Last season, Mississippi State (2-2) humiliated the defending national champions in its season opener with 44 points and an SEC record 623 passing yards. Today, LSU (3-1)  hung on to avenge that loss but not before some late-game drama in a 28-25 win.

After a shocking loss at UCLA in the season opener, LSU (fans were looking for improvements on offense and defense against FCS foe McNeese (0-2). And LSU fans got exactly what they were looking for - on defense. LSU’s did eventually get rolling but left many questions from last week unanswered.

LSU running back signee Tyrion Davis has been somewhat silent on social media this spring.  He’s been absolutely focused on arriving on campus in less than two weeks in the best shape possible.
