Augusta, GA (September 29, 2020) - The Augusta Sports Council and the Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Zach Von Rosenberg of Louisiana State University as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week for Week 4 games. Von Rosenberg was chosen from Ray's 4, announced Monday.

This is the last of our series analyzing each position of the LSU football team prior to the start of spring football practice on March 7.

Von Rosenberg’s baseball career ended in the summer of 2014. Two years later, he joined the LSU football program as a walk-on quarterback/tight end candidate. In his third season with the Tigers football team, Von Rosenberg is an All-Southeastern Conference punter.

Cole Tracy indicated that he is part of a unique group of specialists for LSU’s 2018 football team and their statistics are as good as they come.

Long snapper Blake Ferguson is a grizzled veteran when it comes to LSU’s special teams units. Ferguson, a redshirt junior, is in his third season as the Tigers’ deep snapper. But, his connection with LSU special teams goes back further.
